| About Drumdojo |
DrumDojo was created in 1998 as a site to provide an information-based resource. Intended for percussionists who have spent hours surfing the 'net looking for key pieces of information, to supplement & advance their understanding of their instruments. Much of the content of the site is in the form of useful articles written by knowledgeable percussionists from all around the world, other parts provide reviews of equipment and links to further information on the web. The site is not about people showing off how much or little they know, but is instead directed towards drummers from all disciplines as a site where they can learn more about how and why their instruments work. You are invited to share some of their understanding for the benefit of others. Drumdojo It is intended to be pseudo-encyclopaedic in its construction with equal rigour on fact checking and accuracy. The site tends to have a technical aspect by design and has placed no barriers on the depth to which any area of our art can be investigated
