This kit is nice little Yamaha Stage Custom kit with my Dunnett 13" Ti snare and an Iron Cobra double pedal. The 20" ride to the right is arguably the nastiest ride cymbal I have ever had the misfortune to own, but it came with the kit (second hand on E-Bay) and as much as I hate the sound of it, I can't justify the cost of buying another decent cymbal at the moment.

And yes, that's a genuine Irish Bodhrán in background, bought at Walton's in Dublin when I was there a few years ago.

And just for a giggle, I've started learning the tenor 'bone. It's just as well I have a sound proof room, because I'm a complete beginner on this instrument! When I first started, my daughter (then aged 9) informed me that it sounded like an elephant blowing its nose... which under the circumstances, was probably quite accurate! Guess I've got alot of practice to do before I take the 'bone out in public.
